She studied biochemistry and molecular biology at Michigan State University. She has performed geospatial analysis of environmental contamination data — mapping pollution against affected populations across multiple years to find where the two lines meet, which is the shape of a toxic tort case before anyone files one. And she has applied statistical modeling and hypothesis testing to messy real-world datasets, reporting the results honestly, including where the data would not support the conclusion someone wanted.
