Claire Paterra is a law clerk at Stinar Lannen, where she supports attorneys in complex commercial litigation and mass tort matters. She contributes to all phases of case development, including comprehensive document review, organization of large-scale case materials, and detailed legal research. Claire plays a key role in structuring case files and evidentiary records to promote efficient case management and effective advocacy in high-volume, complex litigation.

Prior to joining Stinar Lannen, Claire gained experience in document-intensive litigation, assisting attorneys with legal research, drafting, case organization, and trial preparation.

Claire earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, with honors, from Michigan State University. While at Michigan State University, she also completed minors in Law, Justice, and Public Policy and Spanish, and received an Honorable Mention at the Undergraduate Research Forum.

Claire is currently a Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where she anticipates graduating in May 2027. She has consistently been recognized on the Dean’s List and is a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship, reflecting her strong academic performance and commitment to legal study. In addition to her academic achievements, Claire is a founding member of the Real Estate Law Organization, where she serves as Treasurer.

Known for her efficiency and attention to detail, Claire has exhibited a consistent capacity for meticulous analysis and structured organization of complex legal materials.
