Alec McWood is a law clerk at Stinar Lannen, where he supports the Firm’s Mass Tort and Class Action practices with a focus on sexual abuse and the Firm’s Business Litigation practice. In this role, Alec contributes to case development through document review, legal research, and case organization, assisting attorneys in all stages of complex litigation and supporting clients throughout the legal process.

Prior to joining Stinar Lannen, Alec gained three years of legal support experience at a variety of firms and companies across the Metro Detroit area. In these roles, he assisted with legal research, drafting, and case preparation, building a strong foundation in litigation support and client-focused legal services.

Alec earned his Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University in 2021. He is currently a Juris Doctor candidate at Wayne State University Law School and is on track to sit for the Michigan Bar in July 2026.

Known for his leadership and hard work, Alec has consistently demonstrated the ability to manage complex litigation matters with diligence, precision, and commitment to supporting both clients and colleagues.
